Project Manager | Certified Scrum Master

ABOUT
Humble Beginnings
I was born and raised in Fort Recovery, Ohio - on a dairy farm. A town of merely 1200, and 1 stoplight - I learned the value of hard work and determination. I reflect back on my upbringing and realize I carry the same values today. Courtesy, humbleness, and a strong determination defines who I am - whether it's milking cows or leveraging more than 20 years of experience in Agile television news and Project Management as a Certified Scrum Master. This excites me.
Experienced Project Manager and Certified Scrum Master with nearly 25 years in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Adept at leading agile teams and driving successful project outcomes. Seeking to leverage my extensive project management expertise to deliver impactful, high-quality products, services, and solutions with efficiency and adaptability.
GIVING BACK
In addition to a rewarding career, it's imperative that I give back to my community. Most recently I have been donating time and funds to charity in the Columbus area.

For more than 10 years, I partnered with other volunteers for American Lab Rescue - a non-profit organization responsible for rescuing 1,000's of dogs from high kill shelters, and finding homes for them, while in the Northeast.

During my time in North Carolina, I volunteered at Urban Ministries of Durham homeless shelter, preparing and serving food to deserving families.

AWARDS & RECOGNITION
Peabody Award
"This is the kind of story no news organization wishes to encounter. It is also the kind of story that must be told and told in a manner that provides accurate reporting, important and useful information, and expanded analysis. These matters are especially important for those organizations closest to the story, organizations that are already a part of the community under duress. WVIT-TV in West Hartford, Connecticut, was that organization on December 14, 2012. Just before 10:00 a.m. that day, a fragmentary police scanner report indicated a shooting at a school. By 10:04 the station had confirmed, then reported, that the school was Sandy Hook Elementary."
